For Ullstein Verlag, we produced the trailers and teasers for several book releases – including the bestseller Intermezzo by Sally Rooney.

Rooney’s book reveals the complexity of relationships – marked by closeness, distance, grief, and hope. With her precise language and emotional depth, she crafts a contemporary portrait of human connection.

We created a release teaser in which her books take flight from Ullstein’s Berlin headquarters and travel into the world – blending 3D animation with live-action footage.

Germany caught between decaying bleakness and petty-bourgeois menace – this is the backdrop in our trailer for Fascholand by Canberk Köktürk.

Real and AI-generated locations translate the book’s sharp-tongued, darkly humorous, and somber tone into a dense visual language.

At a time when hate speech, the far-right shift, and racism are poisoning public discourse and pushing society to the brink, Fascholand delivers a clear message.

Köktürk’s investigative, fast-paced narrative dissects structural problems with precision, making them accessible through biting humor. 

In the trailer for Das Fest, we paired Lucy Fricke’s voice with a pivotal scene from the novel, creating a cinematic moment that captures its mix of melancholy and humor.

Das Fest is a story about loss, forgiveness, and the friendships that shape our lives. It looks back – and forward – from the middle of life. In a society often driven by speed, the novel reminds us that quiet, personal stories can have the deepest impact.
